![]() Chapter: Volume 4, Chapter 4 Species of pet featured: Flower Leon walks in to the petshop once more, but thinks are not as serene within as they usually are... Count D is arranging something, and even asks Leon to make his own tea. Leon, a bit disgruntled, doesn't notice where he's about to sit, and sits on T-chan (Toutetsu). After a bit of a struggle and amusement, Leon, T-chan and a raccoon named Pon-chan keep occupied as Count D leaves to his own business again. ![]() Looking at the full moon, Count D remarks that it's a good time for matchmaking. After a while, a scratched-up Leon grows tired from watching the pets (mauling him), and goes to look for Count D, thinking he's been had, as D might be up to illegal practices while he's stuck goat-sitting.
Angrily, he kicks in a door he's never seen before, and finds himself outside. Confused, Leon finds a cloaked figure in the grassland, and pulls away the garments. A beautiful girl is revealed, and Leon gawks. Then Count D finds them, guiding another cloaked figure by his side. Count D is angry for Leon's intrusion, but the beautiful girl only seems to have eyes for Leon. Count D begs the girl to reconsider, angrily shouting at Leon that he's interrupting a marriage interview.
Count D explains that it's an arranged marriage, and their meeting was meant to determine compatability. However, this doesn't matter anymore, as the female only has eyes for Leon. Leon, confused at this, asks for her name, but D tells him that she's not interested in names. Leon finally gets the hint, and blushes, saying 'he's glad to shoulder this...responsibility'. Count D angrily walks away with the other party. Leon, always a gentleman, tries small-talk first ('Where are you from?'). When the girl responds with 'I was born into this world to pleasure you', Leon gives up the struggle (XD). ![]() Meanwhile, Count D is pissed, the single chance to mate in 20 years ruined by the detective's disturbance. Count D remembers that wedding interviews are about spirit and chemistry, and cheers up, saying he will arrange everything. ![]() Back at Leon, the girl suddenly vanishes from his arms. Leon only finds a flower at his feet where the girl stood moments before. As he mutters about the strange dust now covering him, he runs into another cloaked figure.
Thinking the person is D, he pulls down the garments... to once again reveal a girl, this time dressed into a swimsuit of the American flag. Leon doesn't seem to mind the replacement as the girl leaps up and kisses him. While staring at the moon, Count D remarks that flowers are far easier bred than animals, and that Leon is in for quite a nasty morning after...
