J i l l

Jill is Leon's fun-loving female partner, as an offset to Leon's crude behaviour. She is outspoken like Leon, but is more people-friendly than Leon is. She likes Count D, and doesn't hesitate to criticise or give helpful tips to Leon - even though he doesn't ask for it. She solves her cases with logic and deduction, and is level-headed.

Jill is quite outspoken. She doesn't hesitate to speak her mind, no matter who she's talking to. She's very friendly and open to Leon, but also to people she's just met, like when she met Count D for the first time.
Another thing significant for Jill's personality is that she loves to laugh. She can relivate situations quite well, even when Leon can't, like when they stalked followed Count D on his date with Mr. Wong. Jill was making jokes about Leon being jealous, while Leon could just seethe in anger at the situation.
Jill is very good as a police partner, as she's quite a good judge of people. She seems very informed, plus she can read people like a book. She uses logic, instead of instinct to solve her cases, and is, with her calm, a complete opposite of Leon Orcot.

No background story has been revealed in the series. Jill is mostly a side-character, and first appeared in manga #3, Chapter:Dessert as Leon's colleague.

Leon Orcot: Leon and Jill seem to be quite close, but this is not actually verified in the manga. Leon and Jill both seem like very outspoken people, though, and do link up quite well as a team. They are each other's polar opposites, with Jill being level-headed and calm whereas Leon's very touchy. Even if Leon is annoyed with her laughing at him most of the time, he seems to like her, and Jill appreciates Leon's company.
Count D: Count D and Jill don't really interact much during the series (as Jill doesn't show up very often), but they seem to like each other all the same. Jill sometimes visits Count D's shop together with Leon, and they have a fun time talking to each other over tea, while Leon sits there being pissed that his partner and his supposed suspect get along so well.
